"LOVE ABLE"

To be loveable means "Able to love"
It's freely given from heaven above.
A special gift often misunderstood
We'd hold onto forever if we could.

Love is the light that shines in the dark
Vouchsafe by God, safely saved in the Ark.
From Life's waking dawn, 'til dark closes in
Divine intervention, saved us from sin.

We spring from this love, if lucky we're born
Lost in the dark if from Love's arms we're torn.
Sometimes souls learn lessons no one has taught
Some things in this life, just can not be bought.

Able to love is a gift in return
When lives gently touch, and "True Love" is learned.
Once that has happened, no matter life's way
Seeds might lie dormant, just wait for the day.

A second chance for those fortunte few
Willing and able, I'm loveable too.
Somewhere, unnotice, those seeds of love grew
Now I can love me, while I'm loving you.
