" We're On an Impossible Journey?"

 We're on an impossible journey
That we started a long time ago
And though it was long interrupted
There is something you just have to know.
 

The road stretches on into darkness
And the end, it is nowhere in sight.
There are no mileposts to guide us
We  can't see signs pointing left or right.
 

Are we now prepared for this journey
To start up again after so long?
All hopes that we had to resume it
We'd put with the dreams that went wrong.
 

Now Hope, not despair are companions
Wherever this journey may now lead
We need courage, bold perseverance
To make sure that we have what we need.

 There's no turning back for us this time
We have  traveled too far to turn back.
As hard as it is to keep going
We must find all the things that we lack.

 We Must Trust that it all has meaning
That our reasons are all above board.
We can't waver when things get too tough
Or forget that we Trust in the Lord.
 

It is Hope that holds us together
And it's Love that will not let us go
It is Faith that keeps us believing
And it's God's Love that helps us to grow.
 

The Impossible might take longer
We just might get tired once in a while.
But Life Lived is well worth the effort
So don't ever forget a bright smile.
 

It will brighten, lighten the darkness
Show our footsteps in front of our eyes
Make sure that we keep going forward
Show the world that God's Love will not die.
