 When the sun came up this morning
When its rays touched heaven and earth
When the birds began their singing
And filled Dawn with Joy and mirth.
I awoke with glad elation
For once more I knew it's true
God had once more reminded me
Another Chance to Love You!
 

Though perhaps it should stay hidden
With those other dreams gone by
Though old sins have been forgiven
I no longer have to hide.
Like the sun, my heart is burning
So these words, I pledge they're true
Like the light to earth returning
