There are reasons I count daily
Patience, Faith, and Trust obey
Silent quest the New Day calls me
Please Lord help me find Your way.
Though the load is not past bearing
Straps snugged tight still chafe and burn
Though the hope is not past caring
Some new ropes are hard to learn.
Substance, Dream, or Dark Temptation
Help me see the diff'rence clear
Stay by me, Constant Companion
I am strong while You are near.
